The highest denomination that ever actually circulated, thus an remarkably distinctive piece to many collectors. The note was demonetised on 31st July,1946. Issued by Magyar Nemzeti Bank, the Hungarian National Bank. Ferenc Helbing, 25 December, 1870-28 January 1958, designed the banknote. The engraver was Endre Horváth, 1896- 1954.
