Ordering & Payment Terms

For our Banknotes, we accept the following payments:

Credit or Debit Cards
Credit/Debit card online in GBP sterling. If paying by credit/debit card, we can only ship to your registered cardholder's address.

Personal Cheques UK
We can accept personal cheques from customers ONLY IN THE U.K. We are unable to accept foreign cheques or postal orders. Please make your UK sterling cheque payable to Kate's Paper Money.

Bank Transfer
I can accept a bank transfer in sterling. Please place your order; you will be given instructions when you check out.

GB pounds, US dollars or Euros can be sent as cash for small orders. However, cash is sent at your own risk, so please register/insure it.

We reserve the right to refuse an order.

Layaway Terms
As collectors, we appreciate some banknotes require deeper pockets than others. For those items, we offer the facility to make weekly or monthly payments for up to 6 months. A deposit will secure the item is reserved for you & then the note will be posted to you after the final payment of the agreement is received. Please contact us at kate@katespapermoney.co.uk to discuss this further.


This is our business, and we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase; if you are not, we probably won't hear from you again. That's bad for business and sad for us. So we offer a 14-day return policy from the date the note is despatched.

The note must be sent back in the condition you received it, carefully packaged between cardboard in the sleeve to avoid damage. It must be the actual banknote we sent you. We recommend you send them by either Recorded or Registered delivery mail to obtain a signature. Refunds will be made immediately upon receipt of returned items.


Please be aware the images are for identification; the serial number you receive may differ if I have more than one.


If you choose to pay online for an order, you are transferred to our online payment providers: GlobalPay or PayPal. Their websites request your card details and process your payment on our behalf. We do not receive your card payment details from GlobalPay or PayPal.

We receive confirmation that you have paid. We only store the contents of your shopping basket and your name and delivery address in our database.
